Active ImageCongratulations to the four Upper Sixth students who have been made offers by colleges at Oxford or Cambridge., and to Egor Marisin form last year who has also been successful in his application.

The fab four are Oliver Park, to read History at University College, Oxford, Rosalind Axbey, for Law at Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford, and, at Cambridge, Nick Gale for Maths at Christ’s College and Matilda McAleenan to study Natural Sciences at Gonville and Caius. Matilda also won a coveted choral scholarship – a tremendous achievement.

The four from the current Upper Sixth are joined by Egor Marisin, who left last year, who has been offered a place to read Modern and Medieval Languages at Clare College, Cambridge.

Dr Langdon, Assistant Head of Sixth Form (Higher Education) said, 'I am delighted for these four, and for Egor. They are all very able students with wide-ranging interests who will make the most of the opportunities that will be open to them at their chosen universities. They have worked very hard and prepared intelligently for the rigorous selection procedure, and I am confident that they will go on from here to make their offers.'
